Prepare for the Swedish driving theory test
TeoriPilot is an online course for the Swedish theory test (kunskapsprov) for a category B licence. It turns the theory into animated traffic situations that you watch, decide on and then test yourself on, in English or Swedish.
The official test has 70 questions, of which 65 count and five are unscored test questions. You need 52 points out of 65 and have 50 minutes. TeoriPilot’s practice tests follow the same format. They are unofficial, because Trafikverket does not publish its questions in advance.
What you get
- 40 animated lessons on traffic rules, people in traffic, vehicles, environment and road signs
- 20 practice tests and 3 readiness tests in the format of the B test: 65 questions, 50 minutes, pass at 52
- A library of 344 Swedish road signs, markings and signals
- A driving simulator with an examiner’s instructions, everyday traffic and a replay of every fault
- Everything in English and Swedish
- Free to try: lesson 1, the first practice test, the Town drive, the sign library and 7 Driving basics lessons
Driving basics (free)
Seven short lessons on the routines behind every drive: set-up, moving off, mirrors and blind spots, signalling, lanes, reversing and turning.
- Set up the car before you move: Seat, wheel, head restraint, belt and mirrors: the checks that come before the first metre
- Moving off safely: Mirrors, signal, shoulder check, then go: from the kerb and on a hill
- Mirrors and blind spots: What the mirrors show, what they miss and how to check what they miss
- Signalling: When the law requires a signal, how early to give it and when to switch it off
- Changing lane, choosing lane, stopping: The lane-change routine, lane choice before a turn and pulling in to stop
- Reversing and parking: Look all round, reverse slowly, give way, and park alongside the kerb
- Turning at junctions: Position before the turn, give way to oncoming traffic and cyclists, and finish on the right of the new road
